As many of you are aware, the university does not have lab coat laundry services available for all staff. EH&S has identified a vendor, AmeriPride, that offers reasonable laundry prices ($1/regular lab coat, $1.25/barrier coat). AmeriPride has agreed to waive the pick-up/drop-off fees if we have centralized laundry bins. We’ve finally received permission from campus leadership to place bins at Parnassus (10^th floor Health Sciences) and Mission Bay (Cardiovascular Research Institute). The first step to use the laundry service is to create a purchase order in BearBuy and complete the attached starter packet. Once AmeriPride receives enough starter packets at each location, they will set up a day to chip the coats (so the coats can be tracked and delivered to the correct locations).
