The Office of Sustainability is pleased to announce on behalf of Chancellor Sam Hawgood and the UCSF Academic Senate Committee on Sustainability the UCSF Green Challenge, a competition open to faculty, students, staff, and trainees to make UCSF a leader in innovation for sustainability in health care, research, and education.

As many of you are aware, the university does not have lab coat laundry services available for all staff. EH&S has identified a vendor, AmeriPride, that offers reasonable laundry prices ($1/regular lab coat, $1.25/barrier coat). AmeriPride has agreed to waive the pick-up/drop-off fees if we have centralized laundry bins. We’ve finally received permission from campus leadership to place bins at Parnassus (10^th floor Health Sciences) and Mission Bay (Cardiovascular Research Institute).
